What air testing measures
Air sampling draws air through a filter that's analysed for asbestos fibres, giving a measured fibre concentration rather than a guess. It's used to check that controls are working and that an area is safe to reoccupy.
Clearance after removal
On licensed removal, a four-stage clearance — including a final air test — confirms the area is clean before the enclosure comes down and the space is handed back.
When you might want it
After a suspected disturbance, during works near asbestos, or to reassure occupants that an area is safe.
