What the duty covers

Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations, whoever maintains a non-domestic building must find out whether it contains asbestos, record its location and condition, assess the risk, and manage it so no one is exposed — and keep that information up to date.

How to meet it

In practice that means a management survey, an asbestos register, a written management plan, and periodic re-inspections to keep the record current. Anyone who might disturb the material must be told where it is.

Where we fit in

We carry out the survey, produce the register and plan, and re-inspect on a schedule, so your duty is met and documented for audit.
